Introductory IFRS 17 training for non-executive directors With IFRS 17: Insurance Contacts (IFRS 17) effective for year ends commencing on or after 1 January 2023, there are just a few weeks to go before the standard is live! This is an opportune time for non-executive directors of insurance companies to solidify their understanding of the core principles of IFRS 17 ahead of the go-live date. We would like to provide you with the opportunity to join us for two training sessions which will cover the following topics: Session 1 An introductory training session covering the basic and core principles of IFRS 17. This session is aimed at those individuals with limited to no knowledge of the IFRS 17 standard where we will explain the basic IFRS 17 principles from a zero base. Session 2 In this session we will build on the basic principles of the standard and address advanced topics such as areas of judgment, estimation uncertainty and well as current industry implementation challenges.
